For Managed IT Services, our contracts range from; 12, 24, and 36 month contracts. This helps to lock in a rate and save our clients' money.

The tools that we use to offer protection are charged to us at different intervals and will cost us if you leave prior to at least 1 year. We use contracts to pass on the cost savings to our clients. And yes, it is the same service.

As opposed to having an internal IT team, most definitely Yes. But the cost savings goes beyond the monthly cost. If there is an incident and you are not working with the right IT company, you may have to bear the price of ransomware or even worse, loss of data that cannot be recovered. Our systems use "Best Efforts" to defend against such things.

There has not been a standard set for MSP's to operate by any governing party, and not every MSP is the same. With our relationship with multiple Cybersecurity companies and our current association with the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC), we are giving you the best in class protection you deserve.

When we first started CNWR - 100% of our resources were from the University of Toledo. We still try to keep true to that fact of honoring the actual definition of engineering but we've spread our roots a bit. Our technicians have varying backgrounds from fresh into the field to 20+ years of experience. We encourage and value the wide range as it helps bring fresh ideas and concepts to difficult and challenging problems. We also strongly encourage all of our employees to continue their path in education.

An IT assessment is a powerful tool that can provide valuable information and help businesses identify areas where they can improve operations. Many providers offer free assessments, but these are not always the most reliable option. AT CNWR, our assessments are carried out by certified IT professionals to provide the highest quality data and analysis, as well as detailed cost calculations to determine how much you could be saving or earning with certain solutions.

We are able to support most LoB Software packages and will work with your vendor when needed.

Solutions are not always 'one size fits all' and each business has unique needs. We tailor our efforts to each company individually and feel that if we offer a tier type pricing, not all our clients will get the best of what we have to offer.

For businesses that have a limited budget, CNWR can fix, or assist with, occasional IT issues as they arise. With this model, you pay an agreed-upon fee, usually hourly, each time your business needs technical support or maintenance. You don't need to sign up for any long-term contracts, instead, you simply pay for the help you need when you need it.

This will depend on the contract you choose at the beginning of our relationship and is spelled out clearly in that contract.

During the Assessment and Discovery Process, we may identify some items that may need to be addressed. Our goal is not to break the bank but to work with you on your budget to put things in the place they need to be. However, there have been times where critical infrastructure does need to be replaced and we take these on a case by case basis.

  • Consulting with CNWR starts at $200.00 USD per hour

  • A 1 hour appointment may be required to discuss larger/more complex projects.
  • Any work performed outside of normal business hours or on holidays will be billed at a higher rate.
  • If you would like to request a consultation with Tom Lawrence directly, the rate will be higher.

  • Hours can be pre-purchased upon request or when required by a project.

  • Any and all information sent prior to an appointment will only be reviewed at the technician’s discretion. We are not required to review any documentation prior to a meeting as that is considered billable time.
  • DO NOT send any passwords or sensitive information via email or this contact form. The technician will either request that information during your meeting or coordinate a secure way to send the information otherwise.

Due to the nature of the work that we perform, there is no warranty on hourly work.

Each hour that we work is billable regardless of the outcome of said work. While we will make recommendations on the level of effort required to implement a solution or fix an issue, it is up to you to let us know if there is a cap on the number of hours we spend per engagement.
