Jason_med_thm There have been changes in the Leadership Team at Toledo based IT company CNWR since the start of this year. Jason Slagle has been appointed President of CNWR as of 1/1/22. His vast knowledge and  experience, combined with his gregarious nature (he is affectionately known as “Angry Beard Guy’ on LinkedIn) assures Jason a place as an expert in the IT field. Jason also imparts his wisdom as a consultant for other IT companies in the business of cybersecurity. Jason states as one of his core values in business as “...recognizing that as people, we all want to be better.  We want to be part of something bigger - to build connections with people and businesses and help them succeed.  We strive to make our clients thrive in their companies, not just treat them as one of many customers.”

allen-rioux_med_thmAllen Rioux, founder and former owner of CNWR, remains chairman of the board and (CFO) finance officer. Allen has a proven background in technology companies, with skills in business development, customer relations and account management, as well as expertise in several technical areas. Allen recalls that in the early years of CNWR in 1999, the power went out in downtown Toledo. By demonstrating what is meant by “firefighter mentality”, CNWR  came to the rescue when things couldn’t easily be resolved.

matt_med_thmMatt Clark has been promoted from Director of MSP to Vice President of Operations. Matt had many certifications, including VCP6-DCV, VCP6-DTM, VMSP (Veeam Sales Pro), VMTSP (Veeam Technical Sales Pro), and VTSP (VMware Technical Sales Pro). Matt is a master of VMware and server administration with a sturdy background in networking and cloud based solutions. Matt’s philosophy is “Be the rising tide. Raising all boats, all members of the community and industry, makes everyone better at what they do and strong together.”

Earlier this spring, CNWR purchased a building in Toledo to house their growing company. More information will be coming in future releases to announce the extensive renovations and official move-in date. Also in the works is the expanding service area, to be disclosed once details are finalized. Stay tuned for further specifics about both ventures.
